We recommend booking your accommodations ASAP. Big Sur is a high-demand destination and we want to make sure that you find an option that meets your requirements.

Event Transportation: If you choose not to stay at Alila Ventana, we will have a coordinated shuttle pickup and drop-off at the properties listed here. If you stay elsewhere, you will need to secure your own transfer to-and-from the event.

Note that Uber is not a viable option due to the seclusion of Big Sur in general.

We have curated a list below that spans a range of budgets and considerations.

We have a very limited allocation at Alila Ventana Big Sur (the Event venue) at a preferential rate. It is a splurge, but an unforgettable stay.

BIG SUR RIVER INN

Located 10 minutes from the venue for our event, we will run a shuttle to and from Big Sur River Inn for the event.

Nestled amid towering redwoods along the scenic Big Sur River, the River Inn is Big Sur’s first hotel and restaurant and is a favorite among locals and visitors.

Riverside suites overlook the expansive lawn and redwood-lined Big Sur River. Motel-style ridge rooms are located along historic Highway One across from the main lodge.

Great dining options on site where you can dine on outdoor decks, the lawn or along the bank of the Big Sur River.

Big Sur

Partington Cove: after a 20 minute hike down a dirt road, over a bridge, and through a cute tunnel, the whole Pacific opens in front of you. Epic photo opps.
Pfeiffer Beach: for sundown, take a peaceful stroll onto Pfeiffer Beach to witness unrivaled sunset. Take cash--you'll need to pay $15 to park.
Nepenthe, Big Sur (Restaurant and Bar):further south yet, enjoy unmatched views while sipping on your preferred bevvy. Don't miss the "Phoenix"--a quirky artistic bookshop just below the restaurant.

Monterey

Fishermen's Wharf to stroll the pier and shops. Artisan market on Saturday mornings.
Take a yellow buggy rental to zip around town.
